Description

A simple, safe-to-eat brownie batter dip recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the vanilla extract and milk until just combined.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Serve immediately with fruit, graham crackers, or pretzels.

Notes

  • To make the flour safe to eat, microwave the measured flour in a microwave-safe bowl on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds, stirring halfway through. Let it cool before using.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
