- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, and black pepper.
- Place the pork chops in a large zip-top bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 8 hours for best flavor.
- Remove the pork chops from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels before cooking.
- Discard the remaining marinade.
Notes
- For thicker chops, increase the marinating time to 12 hours.
- You can grill, pan-fry, or bake the marinated pork chops.
