Ingredients

Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together sweet potato puree, egg, and milk.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in the melted butter.
- Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it if necessary.
- Pour batter onto the hot waffle iron according to your appliance’s instructions.
- Cook until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use canned or homemade sweet potato puree.
- For crispier waffles, let the batter rest for 5 minutes before cooking.
