Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring. Boil for exactly one minute.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat.
  5. Stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  6. Pour the fudge mixture into an 8×8 inch pan lined with parchment paper.
  7. Allow the fudge to cool and set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator before cutting into squares.
