Simple recipe for pan-fried bananas served with a rich coconut cream topping.

- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup full-fat coconut cream
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Heat the coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the banana halves cut-side down in the hot oil.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the bananas and sprinkle the brown sugar over the top.
- Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until the sugar starts to caramelize slightly.
- Remove the bananas from the skillet and place them on a serving plate.
- Drizzle the coconut cream over the warm bananas.
- Squeeze the lime juice over the dish before serving.
Notes
- Use firm, ripe bananas for the best texture when frying.
- You can substitute maple syrup for brown sugar if preferred.
