- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Place the beaten egg in a second shallow dish.
- Put the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
- Dredge each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Dip the floured chicken piece into the egg, letting excess drip off.
- Coat the chicken piece thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated bites with cooking spray before baking.
