  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the beaten egg in a second shallow dish.
  4. Put the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  6. Dip the floured chicken piece into the egg, letting excess drip off.
  7. Coat the chicken piece thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  8. Place the coated chicken bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  9. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
