Description
A refreshing, non-alcoholic drink made with hibiscus tea, citrus, and sparkling water.
Ingredients

- 4 cups brewed hibiscus tea, chilled
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Lime slices for garnish
- Mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Brew hibiscus tea and chill completely.
- In a pitcher, combine the chilled hibiscus tea, lime juice, and simple syrup. Stir well.
- Taste the mixture and add more simple syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice.
- Pour the hibiscus mixture into the glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda.
- Gently stir the drink.
- Garnish each glass with a lime slice and a mint sprig.
Notes
- To make simple syrup, heat equal parts sugar and water until sugar dissolves, then cool.
- You can substitute orange juice for some of the lime juice for a different flavor profile.
- For a stronger hibiscus flavor, steep the tea longer.
