  • 1 package Shake ‘N Bake coating mix
  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces (thighs or breasts)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Lightly coat the chicken pieces with vegetable oil.
  3. Place the coating mix in a shallow dish.
  4. Dredge each oiled chicken piece in the coating mix, pressing firmly to adhere the coating.
  5. Place the coated chicken pieces skin-side up in a baking pan. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the coating is crisp.
  7. Serve immediately.
