- 1 whole fresh pineapple
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice the pineapple into rounds about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, lime juice, and cinnamon.
- Brush the sugar mixture evenly over both sides of the pineapple slices.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Place the pineapple slices directly on the grill grates.
- Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the pineapple is slightly softened and caramelized.
- Remove from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute maple syrup for brown sugar if desired.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a simple dessert.
