Description

A simple recipe for tender, flavorful chicken made in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until combined.
  3. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.
  4. Add the cubed cream cheese on top of the chicken and sauce mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the slow cooker. Stir well to coat the shredded chicken with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot.

  • Serve this chicken over rice, mashed potatoes, or in tortillas.
  • You can reduce the sodium by using low-sodium soup and broth.
