- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
- You can chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker bars.
- Store cooled bars in an airtight container at room temperature.
