Description
A quick and refreshing sandwich perfect for eating after swimming.
Ingredients

- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 4 slices deli turkey
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 large lettuce leaves
- 2 tomato slices
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Place the bread slices on a clean surface.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Spread mustard on top of the mayonnaise on one slice.
- Layer the turkey slices on the mustard-covered bread.
- Place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey.
- Top with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
- Sprinkle the tomato with salt and pepper.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwich in half.
Notes
- You can substitute your preferred deli meat.
- For extra flavor, lightly toast the bread before assembling.
