A quick and refreshing sandwich perfect for eating after swimming.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 4 slices deli turkey
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 large lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomato slices
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the bread slices on a clean surface.
  2. Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Spread mustard on top of the mayonnaise on one slice.
  4. Layer the turkey slices on the mustard-covered bread.
  5. Place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey.
  6. Top with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
  7. Sprinkle the tomato with salt and pepper.
  8. Place the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down.
  9. Cut the sandwich in half.
