Easy to make bars with a Nutella filling and a crumb topping.
Ingredients

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 jar (13 ounces) Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Press about two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
- Spread the Nutella evenly over the crust.
- Crumble the remaining dough over the Nutella layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the dry ingredients.
- Ensure the Nutella is at room temperature for easier spreading.
- Store cooled bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
