Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or non-reactive dish.
- Pour the yogurt marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Arrange chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the skin is browned.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For crispier skin, you can finish the chicken under the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Use full-fat plain yogurt for the best marinating results.
