A simple recipe for making a satisfying, cheesy stromboli.

- 1 package (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced cooked ham
- 1/4 cup sliced provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced salami
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil.
- Layer the mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, ham, and salami evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam closed. Tuck the ends under.
- Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the top of the roll with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with dried oregano.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let the stromboli cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
- You can substitute your favorite deli meats and cheeses.
