- 1 pre-made pie crust (9 inch)
- 1 cup chopped fresh broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Arrange the broccoli florets evenly in the bottom of the pie crust.
- Sprinkle the Swiss cheese over the broccoli.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture carefully over the broccoli and cheese in the crust.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is set and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Let the quiche cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can use frozen broccoli; thaw and drain it well before using.
- For a richer flavor, substitute half-and-half for the milk.
