Description
A recipe for meatballs flavored like butter chicken, suitable for dinner.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and ginger-garlic paste in a bowl. Mix gently.
- Roll the mixture into small meatballs.
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder to the melted butter. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the tomato puree and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Gently add the meatballs to the sauce.
- Cover the pan and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Stir in the heavy cream. Heat through for 2 minutes without boiling.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Serve these meatballs with rice or naan bread.
- You can bake the meatballs instead of pan-cooking them for a slightly different texture.
