Description
Cook fluffy brown jasmine rice quickly using an electric pressure cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 cup brown jasmine rice
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Rinse the brown jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice, water, and salt into the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
- Secure the lid and set the vent to the sealing position.
- Select the Pressure Cook setting (Manual or Pressure Cook) and set the time for 10 minutes on High Pressure.
- When the cooking cycle finishes, allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, carefully move the vent to the venting position to release any remaining pressure.
- Open the lid and fluff the rice gently with a fork.
Notes
- For softer rice, increase the water to 1 1/4 cups.
- You can substitute water with low-sodium broth for added flavor.
