A simple recipe for grain free cookie bars using coconut and nuts.
Ingredients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar substitute
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk substitute
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded coconut, melted butter, brown sugar substitute, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans over the crust layer.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk substitute evenly over the toppings.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- You can substitute walnuts for pecans if desired.
- Use a sugar free chocolate chip brand you prefer.
