Description

A simple recipe for a gluten free crust suitable for pies and cheesecakes.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine the gluten free graham cracker crumbs and sugar in a medium bowl.
  3. Pour the melted butter over the crumb mixture. Mix until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before filling.

Notes

  • You can use a food processor to make your own gluten free graham cracker crumbs.
  • For a no-bake crust, chill the pressed crust in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes instead of baking.
