Description

A quick and easy frosting made with Nutella for topping cakes and cupcakes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened butter in a large bowl until creamy.
  2. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.
  3. Add the Nutella and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  4. Add the milk or cream, one tablespoon at a time, until the frosting reaches your desired spreading consistency.
  5. Beat on medium-high speed for 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Notes

  • If the frosting is too thick, add a little more milk.
  • If the frosting is too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.
