Ingredients
Scale

- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crushed crackers or pecans (for coating)
Instructions

- Cover the bowl and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until firm enough to handle.
- Place the crushed crackers or pecans in a shallow dish.
- Scoop out small amounts of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll each cheese ball in the cracker or pecan coating until fully covered.
- Place the finished cheese balls on a serving platter.
- Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes
- For easier rolling, chill your hands briefly before forming the balls.
- You can substitute smoked paprika for garlic powder for a different flavor profile.
