Description

Simple recipe for making crispy zucchini slices using an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  2. Wash and trim the ends of the zucchini.
  3. Slice the zucchini thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. A mandoline works well for uniform slices.
  4. In a bowl, toss the zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  5. If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the slices and toss gently.
  6. Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; work in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry for 8 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and crisp.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the slices with a small amount of cornstarch before adding oil.
  • Check the crisps frequently after 8 minutes, as cook time varies by air fryer model.
