Simple recipe for cooking carrots in an air fryer until tender and slightly caramelized.

- 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Place the cut carrots in a bowl.
- Drizzle the carrots with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly.
- Place the seasoned carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer if possible.
- Air fry at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the carrots are tender.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a sweeter flavor, add 1 teaspoon of brown sugar with the seasonings.
- You can substitute other root vegetables like parsnips or sweet potatoes.
