A quick and simple recipe for chicken and broccoli tossed in a garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add broccoli to the same skillet. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss everything together until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken and broccoli.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For faster cooking, cut the chicken into smaller pieces.
- You can substitute olive oil for half the butter if you prefer.
