Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. Add broccoli to the same skillet. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss everything together until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken and broccoli.
  8. Serve immediately.
